anil kumar janardhan, born 1964 in kerela, is a self taught artist. He has worked at significant art centres in India ancluding Bharat Bhavan in Bhopal, The Kanoria centre of arts in Ahmdabad, and The Cholamangalam Artist Village in Chennai. Solo Exhibitions include 'Tree Goddesses' at Kashi Art Gallery in Kochi, Kerala,2005, 'Blue Spectrum at Draavidia Art and Performance Gallery, Kochi, 1999, Ahmedabad contemprary Gallery, Ahmedabad,1991, and Alliance Francaise, Chennai,1991.

The artist divides his time between his homes in Aosta in the northern alps of Italy, and Kodaikanal in Southern India.
