Yuvaraj Velu is a contemporary artist known for his dynamic works with the KINETICS collective, contributing his distinctive style to this influential group. His achievements include winning the 48th National Award in 2006 and participating in prominent events like the 11th Oita Asian Sculpture Exhibition in Japan (2012) and the 51st National Art Exhibition (2008-09). He also participated in various art contests, such as the 22nd All India Art Contest in Nagpur (2008) and the 20th All India Art Contest in Nagpur (2006). His participation extends to several workshops, including the National Metal Casting Camp in Imphal, Manipur (2017), the Tamil Nadu Oviya Nunkalai Kuzhu in Chennai (2006), and a Regional Wood Camp by Lalit Kala Akademi at Dakshinachitra (2011).

Yuvaraj Velu’s solo exhibitions include "Ashvita Art Object & Artifacts" in Chennai (2007) and a solo show at Artistic Art Gallery, Chennai (2005). He has also been part of several group exhibitions, including "Madras As An Emotion" at Lalit Kala Akademi, Chennai (2024), "Meraki" at Veda Gallery, Chennai (2023), and "Confluence of the Past and Present" at Artworld Gallery, Chennai (2023).
