India Art Fair is the leading platform to discover Modern and Contemporary art from South Asia. The fair plays a crucial role as a unique access point to the region’s thriving cultural scene.
The 2019 edition of India Art Fair will build on the success of the previous edition under the leadership of new Fair Director, Jagdip Jagpal, where galleries reported making strong sales to a growing local and international collector base. Attendance by curators and directors from museums, institutions and private foundations from India and worldwide, was the highest to date.
India Art Fair will work closely with exhibitors to showcase the diversity and strength of the South Asian art scene across four sections: Galleries, Focus, Platform and Institutions.
With an emphasis on fostering and strengthening relationships with practitioners, institutions and patrons, India Art Fair is also continuing to focus on engaging new and established audiences year-round, cultivating the growing global interest in Modern and Contemporary Indian art.
