Harmeet Rattan

Having been born into a family of artists, making art was an integral part of his upbringing.

He pursued a BFA (Bachelor Of Fine Arts) in Sculpture from Punjab University Govt. College Of Art, Chandigarh between 2006- 2010 and MFA (Master Of Fine Arts) in Sculpture from the University of Delhi's College Of Art, New Delhi between 2010-2012.

His Presentations include a Solo Show: “PERMANENT VISIBILITY” Text by Anushka Rajendran, Prameya Art Foundation, New Delhi, as a part of Discover 7, 2022; Individual Light installation at Bikaner House – Abir Foundation X Jaquar Lights “The light beyond the shadows”, Palette Art Gallery at India Art Fair, 2022, ‘Fragments Of Imagination’ at Palette Art Gallery, New Delhi. 2021, Vanishing Girls Campaign - ADF India, Art for Change Foundation, IIC New Delhi, 2021 amongst many more.

Harmeet is a recipient of Khoj Peers Share, 2021, Award for Excellence: Virtual Residency on Mental Health – ‘Everybody Deserves To Have Their Story Heard’ by The Art For Change Foundation & The Lighthouse Experiment to raise awareness of Mental Health through Artistic Practice; KHOJ Support Network Grant, Khoj International Artists Association, 2020; Sculpture Award at the Annual Exhibition 2011, by Punjab Lalit Kala Academy (State Academy of Art), Photography Award at the Annual Exhibition 2009 by Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy (State Academy of Art); S. L. Prasher Special Award (for academic excellence) during the Annual Exhibition Govt. College of Art, Chandigarh, University of Punjab, 2010 to name a few.
